They were talking about me. They got my pronouns wrong. It’s ok though, because they will have many more opportunities to get it right.

I completely understand. It was very overwhelming for me at first and sometimes can still be overwhelming depending on how my computer is working lol
If you ever decide you want to try it again I highly recommend modding it (and I would be happy to send you what I use). That said it’s not a bad thing to play other games if you like them better :) games should be fun not stressful imo
Edit: removed the extra “my”
That’s true. Maybe I should try it on PC. I know a lot of people really like it so I would like to give it a fair shot.
Not sure if you saw this comment above. Looks like there are ways to change the difficulty. I’m not sure that would help me though. The monsters move fast for me.
Lol this is me before mods
I agree. I only mentioned it because it was recommended to me as low stress, so I thought it was just me that didn’t get it lol
Stardew Valley and Terraria may both fit your list, although Terraria stresses me out a bit.
You bring up an excellent point that I hate very much
True…but that was still decades ago
I’m very confused that this is happening now. I thought it happened a long time ago (them being found liable I mean). It’s crazy to me that it’s taken this long for such a pitiful punishment. It is good though that people are being reminded once again how shitty they are. Maybe we can impact their bottom line somehow (doubtful)
It’s ridiculous how much rebuilding takes, at least in the US, and how much racism and classism plays into it.
I went to NOLA like 5 years after Hurricane Katrina and most of the houses I saw in “certain” (poor) neighborhoods still had the spray paint on them from first responders. Also one of the (predominantly black) universities there I don’t think had fully rebuilt either at that point while the other (predominantly white) university had just gotten a new sports field.
I just can’t imagine being in a war torn place where much of the world hardly acknowledges you as a human and trying to rebuild your community.
It just blows my mind every day the cruelty in this world - and the fact that there are so many genocides happening simultaneously. I still remember when I was a small child finding out that WW2 did not hold the only genocide the world had ever or would ever see. I still can’t quite wrap my head around it.
Based on some of these other site names, you probably don’t actually want to know
Thanks. Because of this post I was able to figure out how to change the search engine on my phone
Yeah, it is so frustrating trying to get a question answered only to get stuck in a loop.
And then finally find an email address to talk to and their only reply is to talk to the bot…
A small subset of people seem to be really good at driving companies into the ground. It’s like a special skill
Yes. IIRC it’s one reason video conferencing is so exhausting
Thanks, I never knew that’s what it was called.
I was also the “victim”(?) of a brushing incident before. It was a strange experience.
I bookmark a lot of the websites I’m using.
My bookmark folders are insane.
I almost never actually use them unless I’m looking for that one website I probably bookmarked 2 years ago.
I accidentally used chrome the other day.
Tried to go to Gmail with “gm” enter.
No autocomplete, just a Google search.
Almost went to the General Motors website.
It’s been fun. I’ve had it for a few months and I love it. Currently trying to figure out why my PDFs get corrupted and how to fix it - I’m pretty sure it has to do with signatures but not completely sure. The other thing is that I was having trouble figuring out how to hibernate my computer, so it was sleeping all the time (except when off or in use), but then one day it just started hibernating. Not sure how that happened.
I chose Fedora with the KDE desktop and it’s great. I’m not entirely sure I understand the differences in the desktop choices but it works for me for now.
I’m trying to get my partner to switch but they’re worried about it not being compatible with/not being able to find suitable replacements for certain Windows software used for work. So basically I just need to get better with Linux before they switch lol
