I think its almost perfect, just need a plugin to be able to show lyrics synchronised with the song
That’s something that always bother me (Especially with Android), why that fuck can I not choose which networks can my apps access if access at all??? Is my device damn it! And I know Android supports is just locked away from users
The problem with gboard is that is a google service, which is connected to google play services, which if you have, you have to let it connect to the internet.
So unless you have a firewall where you can filtered connection between the apps or domains connected to Gboard, it does not will change much
Try bazzite if you are willing to learn, otherwise just pick Zorin OS or Linux Mint and you will be fine (You will just have to learn the basics of how linux works, but nothing too complex as arch linux)
