Trendy and morally correct. If we can hate on Mastercard for the banning of adult content on Steam, we can blame crypto and the people around it for the scams and the continuing environmental harm.

This is very common in the corporate world. The only thing is it doesn’t make sense for a trillion-dollar corporation reaping record profits to be doing this, or maybe it does. We all say competition in the market is good, but I don’t think trillion-dollar corporations are incentivized to compete. They’re chasing dollars while employees and consumers are pennies to them.

I’m still waiting for them to recover financially so they can create another deep RPG like Daggerfall. I’ll bet ES6 will be for the fans /s
Unlike EA, Microsoft can afford to wait a little and then get rid of the employees. They let them do what they want because they have no idea how to run a gaming studio anymore. They don’t have any incentive to have expertise, which is why the old Xbox IPs like Halo or Gears died so COD can live in another part of town. They are like tech venture capitalists now, not even just in gaming.
Have they paid off the 70 billion? If they are making money, why are they firing people and cancelling projects?
Unfortunately, Microsoft is bigger than 1 good dude. Remember when this one executive threatened to pull MS out of an entire nation because the CMA had an objection regarding the ABK merger? For every one Phil, there are probably 9 of these rich pricks.
I also started using Bazzite recently, but not because of him. But this new video is giving me ideas on what other things I can do. The Linux one popped up in my suggested videos too, and I thought there was good starter information there too. I don’t really know much about him otherwise.
Will it kill PC gaming for you if retailers themselves sell video cards for over $150 MSRP?
Kojima used their engine and helped him get his own studio get started when his old one wanted to chase mobile gaming.
If I had a trillion dollars, and no desire to add telemetry bloat to my OS, and I’m incentivized to compete in the market…
Is the value you’re setting your short to still higher than comparable stocks like, say, Toyota’s? You’re still ‘selling’ at irrational prices. Algorithms still sees these as market movement and you just serve as insurance policy for Tesla.
Gamblers. Shorting the stock is still a show of support. If you don’t like Musk, stop betting for or against the stock. Don’t be greedy.
Even the Playstation OS is better than this. It asks you whether to update before shutdown or the next time it starts up. ‘You’re 33% there’ is gaslighting, especially when you’re just shutting down the machine to go to bed.
Subscription fee? Is this true? Do they have a PC Game Pass service now?
It could mean many other things. There could be minorities in a position to implement DEI policies. It could mean HR doesn’t want to deal with changes, etc.
If you’d watched the video, you would know they were one of the ones getting scammed.
You’ve played Cyberpunk 2077? Majority of players played female V. I don’t think they struggled to play as her either.
I made a tool that migrates from one DB format to another. Then another format was introduced. Of course I reused the assets from the tool to expand the tool to migrate to the new DB format. But then I know more of what can go wrong with the tool, so even then testing took longer, but the tool ran cleaner.
Why use Mastercard as an excuse to move to crypto? You can’t generalize the problems of the current monetary system because of the actions of a few. Crypto’s impact is high? It is a non-essential. Many cryptos don’t matter. And bitcoin, as the one people gravitate towards, is awful for the environment, for something that is a non-essential (and not even a practical currency).
