Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
I sing karaoke fairly often. I sing the nonsense lyrics and no one seems to notice, especially if I sing 90s rock.
Yep. I’ve tried several others and they’re not for me, but a lot of people are really happy with them.
I like SteamOS so much that I’m using HoloISO on mini PCs around the house to simulate consoles and stream couch games from my gaming rig upstairs. But my experience isn’t everyone’s so get your hands on it and try it out.
That’s a conspiracy I can get behind. I have noticed a lot of times one of them grows a conscience for half a moment something damning comes out about them soon after.
Some cults use a similar tactic. You’ve joined, you’re sucked in, and suddenly if you really want the inner mysteries you have to do something terrible on video to prove your loyalty. Then it’s impossible to get out without destroying your life.
Apparently, SpaceX has special tactics to stoke his grandiose ego and trick him into giving them the freedom they need.
It’s a tale as old as bosses. Many of them have big egos and think that because they’re in charge that magically gives them expertise. So if you want to do something you either get them looking at something shiny or you make them think it’s their idea.
I had a boss like that ages ago. If I wanted to work on something out of the ordinary I would plant the idea, then a few weeks later I would remind him that he brought it up a while ago. I used the fact that he had a million things going on so he never really remembered who brought it up. I didn’t care that he got the credit because I got to work on cool things and expand my repertoire.
That’s why way back in the day they had GIMPshop and why there’s PhotoGIMP now.
With Framework, you’re also paying to be able to upgrade. I like the idea of getting a new GPU and just popping it in.
Pine is so soft and the pores are so big that it soaks up everything. For me, pine is for painting.
They all but abandoned that years ago. They ain’t implementing shit on it.
I don’t have any generation PlayStation so I don’t have a dog in this fight. That being said:
I completely understand. I’ve got a gaming rig in one room, stream to mini PCs set up as steam consoles in other rooms, and have a Steam Deck. I can play anywhere in my house. I never need to worry whether someone else is using a TV.
If it works for your case, I’m happy for you!
ChimeraOS and HoloISO. I haven’t heard of Bazzite but I’m going to have to go look now in case HoloISO gets abandoned. Should be an easy replacement.
I’m using HoloISO (it’s like 95% SteamOS) on a mini PC (all AMD, 680M iGPU because I wanted to get close to the deck specs). I mostly stream games from elsewhere in the house, but it has a few titles installed locally.
The sleep works perfectly so far for local titles. I assume other Arch based distros with all of the steam software installed (like ChimeraOS) work just as well. If the hardware maker who puts it on their box makes sure their hardware is well supported it shouldn’t be an issue.
Can we all just agree not to have an emergency those days?
And there’s no dead torrents. I could have probably added that too
Depends on your view. Some see it as a way to preserve media that could otherwise be gone forever. Some see it as a reasonable price to pay instead of paying 15 different companies hundreds per month. Others don’t mind supporting the individuals and small groups who run the servers but don’t want to support large corporations.
Depending on your definition of laid back, maybe Dredge? You can run through it in probably 10ish hours if you’re just trying to complete it. But if you want to see everything, relax, and fish you can stretch that to 30 pretty easily (it’s claimed you can do it in 16-17 but I’ve spent 30 just hanging out and fishing and I don’t have it all yet because of the relaxed pace I set).
The stressful parts never really felt stressful to me. Very little is timed. At its core it is an inventory management fishing game with a couple of jump scares. Plays well on the deck.
Otherwise, Stardew Valley like others have suggested.
I’m getting some rainbow truck nuts and a car bra for my truck. I like to keep folks guessing.
If there’s an Australian in you then maybe you shouldn’t be commenting on the internet. Just relax and reciprocate that Australian’s energy and enjoy yourself. Wait until you two are done before hopping back on for more comments.
Yep. A lot of these tech companies that have run in the red for years are now being called on to produce a profit and pay the big backers.
