Oh man, close! It was Ball Ground, behind the Barrel House Coffee.
We stopped by for lunch and stretch our legs for a bit on our way up to Ellijay
Not much detail in the article. Hopefully he died doing what he loved. May he rest in peace
Here’s Shadow’s take on it, but he doesn’t mention the title’s reference to ozone. However I like this interpretation better from the comments section
It’s just a man digging his motorcycle and his memories tied to it even if it doesn’t get any respect from anyone else. Just seems like a universal vibe regardless where you are in the world, at least resonated with me
psychosomatic…
A collaboration with F9 has so much potential for sure!
Dude! Totally! So weird. Motorcycle bathtub stunt bike, what were they smoking?🤣🤣🤣
Hey @nerdschleife@lemmy.world Did you ever get the bearings inspected or replaced? This revzilla video just popped up on my YouTube feed and reminded me of your post: https://youtu.be/GMxfJ2IYUgc
Finally!😅🚀
I thought I wanted a Beeline until I saw the video and now your comment
Had health problems said he want same to ride anymore
The 65 mile ride home was great. It’s a major upgrade from my little SG250 cafe racer. I posted this pic of it couple weeks ago https://yall.theatl.social/post/2081
The dangerous part is that small and minor mistakes can have huge consequences, they are not proportional. But there are many ways to mitigate the risk and I think it all starts with attention to detail and all the other good suggestions made in this thread.
I have a Helite air jacket that I bought after being in an accident last year that I’m fairly confident would have prevented the injuries that landed me in the hospital if I would have had it at the time. I’m now in process of upgrading to a bike with ABS brakes
Good suggestion but the cafe lines aren’t there enough for me
The style is called “Cafe Racer” and the backstory is that it came out of 1950’s-1960’s motorcycle subculture in London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Café_racer?wprov=sfti1
Not sure where you’re located but I’ve had a great experience learning to ride and hack on mine for relatively low cost. I think these Chinese bikes are a great for learning on. Seems like several countries have companies that specialize in importing and branding the bikes from the Chinese manufacturers like Zhongshen and Lifan. Mine’s from Zhongshen imported and branded by CSC Motorcycles in California
That’s a sweet little line up you got there 💯
My favorite recently is an open source watch project called Watchy that I designed motorcycle themed watchfaces for it.
My bike’s speedometer doesn’t have a clock so I found it really helpful to add a clock and now swapped it out with my Watchy and really digging it and toggling the faces based on my vibe that day.
Here is a post showing the watchfaces: https://theatl.social/@bayport/110528737858974445
And here is recent pic where I was sporting the Tintin watchface shows it mounted on the handlebars: https://theatl.social/@bayport/110606841518507332
I’m loving mine but no idea about the SE. you might want to ask around on this forum: https://www.z900rs.co.uk/
