The ‘spoiler’ filter tag is a nice alternative to NSFW…when it works.
Unfortunately, Reddit doesn’t always apply the thumbnail blur, which led to The Mandalorian being spoiled for me. :-(
The NSFW filter is going to suck. Not because of porn, I don’t care about being able to access that on Reddit, but because of the NSFW tag culture. For example, in some miniature painting hobby subs, people will mark anything with blood painted on as NSFW. Hell, over the past 3 years I’ve seen more and more text posts get a NSFW tag for swearing.
As much as I want to support Relay after using it for so many years, it would suck not knowing what pseudo-NSFW content is being hidden from me.
Dead Space is fantastic. I never played the original, so I’m glad this remake knocked it out of the park. It’s more action oriented like Resident Evil 4, but still atmospheric enough with headphones or a good sound system.
RE7, on the other hand, gets my blood pumping the way Amnesia did when I (tried) to play.
I was a huge fan of Wizardy 8 when it released. Being able to type questions and responses to NPCs in a 3D RPG was mind blowing to teenage me. The older Elder Scrolls games like Daggerfall can be fun for a while as well.
The isometric games from Black Isle Studios were also top notch 90s/2000s RPGs. Baldur’s Gate (I & II), Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment are all fantastic. Planescape is less combat focused than the others.
I joined Reddit shortly before Ridiculously Photogenic Runner, and I’ll leave Reddit with Ridiculously Photogenic John Oliver. Not bad.
