Usually it edits the hosts file and it usually takes a reboot for it to take effect

I use it without root and it’s fine. Not perfect, but at least you can disable it if you have to without rebooting your phone

They only do it to make sure the latest Blu Rays work AFAIK. this is also how they get the decryption keys for the latest movies lol

True. On some games the SD card is slower but it’s negligible. I have my 2 TB in there and I’m happy with it. Kinda ran out of stuff to load on it and I’m at around 750GB full lol

Nowadays you can’t even boot Ubuntu from disc. The loader is completely bugged out and you need to specify a few boot args to get it to boot within a semi reasonable amount of time. Last time I did, it took 20 minutes to load lol.

I’ve bought a 2TB SSD for mine. Didn’t receive it yet, not the fastest SSD by any means but it’s 150 CAD. i also got a 1TB SD card in there lol so it’s gonna be a fattie when I’m done with it
