Oh I get it, he must play the character Fall Out boy
It’s been years since I tried Unity, but when I picked up Godot it just clicked. I still grumble at my lack of expertise in this versus my normal programming job, but it’s coming along and I can generally build the things I want! The whole node structure is just great.
Reading shampoo bottles
Honestly, that should be pretty easy. Throw a thermometer that can connect to HA, put it like on the backsplash or somewhere nearby. Figure out the average temp near there and what it’s like when you’re cooking, then HA should be able to make it pretty easy to check and keep the previous temp(s).
No clue how to do it with an ESP but temp tracking is real common in HA and the automation setup should make that pretty simple to alarm on.
That’s me in the bottom right corner over there.
Sounds like they got together and forced their hand. Wonder if there’s a term for that?
Infrastructure as code
I’m not going to look up what a Thrustmaster TMX is and will instead assume the worst. (best?)
Oh right I forgot all about snaps. Yeah I haven’t used it as a dedicated desktop since probably 2006. It’s generally all server usage in the cloud for me these days, which basically means everything is disposable and I couldn’t care less about the full OS in general. I really do need to get back on Linux for personal use though. I don’t really care for running VMs on windows for my self hosted stuff.
What did I miss? Ubuntu used to be the shit.
Me neither, when it comes to printing. I do a lot of casting in resin though. But don’t know shit when it comes to printing with it. FDM is my pride and joy there.
Right so I love resin stuff and despise sanding so I’ve tried a lot of things. First, sanding is actually great. Miserable process, but once you have a single piece that you like, it’s pretty trivial to mold and cast it again and again and again. Does take some equipment though for quality, repeatable results.
If you go with sanding, grab some micro mesh pads. They’re great.
Some kind of resin
Sounds like they did add controller support according to recent reviews. Just picked this up to give it a try on the deck tonight!
