I’m saddened by it and have expanded who I buy my chargers from but I haven’t outright stopped buying from Anker because they just make such high quality chargers with great warranties and customer service. I’ve used them for over a decade and have never had one of their chargers damage a device.
I kinda feel like there’s almost no company without a morally questionable part of them somewhere. Which is very depressing. Even LTT themselves are having a scandal right now.
Our electronics are built with slave labor in all but name in 3rd world countries.
I don’t like buying from Anker after that came out, and it did reduce how much I buy from them overall, but I still do sometimes. It is what it is.
Yes, but not all those chargers are high quality. I ordered a charger from a brand I never heard of because it had the features I wanted, but it ended up having a seriously noticeable whine when charging anything so I’m returning it today.
Got to research quality brands. As far as I know the best 3rd party brands for charging are Anker, ESR, and Baseus. Have several of each of their products and love them all.
