Standing up for women’s rights doesn’t necessarily equal creep - that’s what men should be doing. But you’re not wrong that men who are overly vocal about saying they’re a feminist are often creeps. It’s kind of like the Nice Guy thing in my experience - if you have to tell me (ad nauseum) how nice you are, I’m definitely suspicious. Men who are actually feminists don’t usually feel the need to say it 30 times in their dating profile, they’re just out there living it and it’ll be obvious to anyone paying attention.

I’m not sure. I never use the full dnd setting, so I haven’t had to try any alternatives. I just know dnd seems to work better than apps that say they’ll block spam.

Put your phone on do not disturb for anyone not in your contacts. I almost never get spam calls anymore because my phone just sends them all straight to voicemail and they seem to have figured out that they’ll never get through to a real person. It took a few months, and I still had to clear out quite a few voicemails in that time but I didn’t get notifications about them so I could just clear them out at the end of the day.

Yesss, I loved both of those games. Pentiment was so strange - there are things I didn’t love about it, but I still got so sucked in that I’d wake up the morning and be eager to start playing again to find out what happens next. I haven’t felt that way about a game in a while.

Did you play any of the Dragon Age games? I’ve heard the combat is pretty similar, which is a bummer because that was the thing that kept me from continuing DA:O. I feel like I’d enjoy the story of both but can’t get past the actual gameplay.

Ugh I feel the same way about The Witcher. I tried 2 and 3 and just couldn’t get into it. The combat was not enjoyable and it felt really clunky to me. I actually tried 2 a couple of times because everyone raved and I thought maybe I was just missing something, but it wasn’t for me.

I think the anti-reflective glass is very tempting. I’m not incredibly worried about the battery because basically everywhere I take it will have charging available and I don’t think I can justify the cost of the 1TB model knowing that I really prefer using my PC for gaming whenever possible (which is most of the time, for me).
