I wouldn’t even consider PS2 retro. Maybe some of the earliest PS2 games. But for the most part to me it’s pre Y2K.

Vic20 is my oldest machine. After that is either my dead C64 or OG macintosh.
You don’t have to run linux to watch a video about linux.
720p is fine, but I’d prefer 1080p most of the time.
It mostly just comes down to bitrate. A 4k video at 1Mbps is probably gonna look like shit. My drone and my go pro shoot 4k footage at 60Mbps h265 and that looks amazing. But if I’m acquiring a fuck ton of movies I’m not gonna download that shit at that bitrate. As long as the video is like 1080p and 5Mbps or higher I’m happy. If the file size is >6 gigs for a movie I ain’t downloading that shit even if I can, and that’s with a 1gb symmetrical internet connection and a 30TB NAS.
That’s assuming that you haven’t already burnt through your supply of fridge beers.
You can also just wrap them in a wet paper towel to get the same effect. Or even better wet paper towel with some ice on top.
The docks will work with anything that has Thunderbolt 3/4. It’s only the power switch that won’t work, and you can’t do the breaking USB spec of charging over 100 watts @20v. The downside is those OEM docks tend to be Thunderbolt only, and if you connect it to a USB only device it will either not work at all, or have SEVERELY limited functions.
Is yours a dock dock or just a big hub? I don’t really have much experience with the dock docks, but I know the overgrown hubs we use at work love to burn out the HDMI converter chips, but usually work well enough besides that.
FYI OEM docks are CHEAP used once they’ve been out for a few years. And no you can’t mix docks from other OEMs and have the power button work since there’s no standard for it.
I’ve found aftermarket ones to be super unreliable though, especially if you use HDMI and power from the dock.
Whatever makes RTX work is what accelerations a lot of AI tasks. I’d argue the 1080 is bordering on irrelevant if it wasn’t for the 8 gigs of ram to save it. The 2060 should be much faster despite for gaming being about in par.
One thing to be aware of is if your filament gets too humid and you dry it out it won’t perform the same as when it was fresh. It will perform better, but not like new. In addition to drying mine out I make sure to store it in a sealed container filled with desiccants. I just take them from various packages and throw them in there. I bought a huge tub from Menards a white back that has a rubber or foam gasket to help keep the humidity out. Just a regular lid only helps so much. The tub wasn’t expensive and I have like 10-15 1kg rolls in there.
Weird. I have youtube premium but never turn ublock off and I’ve almost never had any issues. I mostly watch youtube on MacOS, but Windows or Linux (not signed in) I’ve almost never had issues with it. Maybe try turning it on?
Every time I see him I can’t believe Tek Syndicate is still around.
can run in a VM, and can run well in a VM are two very different things.
Linux already has bad audio latency without tweaking, running a VM with Windows latency on top of that? Yeah no thanks.
Microsoft Remote Desktop requires Winodws * pro, but Windows File Sharing doesn’t.
Nvidia or Intel GPU?
How does the vGPU compare to running it on the bare metal? Last I tried things were painful but technically usable.
You have to specifically request that siri uses chat GPT for a request.
You can buy .xyz domains from places other than gen.xyz. I have mine from namecheap and I haven’t had any issues in like 10 years with them.
Can she rotate the phone 90 degrees and take a screenshot using both pointer fingers? You’d have to take into account accidentally rotating the screen so you’d have to make sure to keep it flat.
I don’t have arthritis but that’s how I take screenshots on phones where the buttons are all on the same side.
Is the xbone version even translation? I figured they just recompiled the game for the One since there’s a lot of differences in some games.
