I like OP’s idea but I wonder about the legality of it and how it might be used against BookWyrm by private entities. Interoperability/plugins that act as middle-men + open library seems like the way.

i came because of microsoft paranoia, then stayed for the customization
we already have this feature on the Tusky app but I’m glad Mastodon is adding it to the native app
oof it can’t find me
i wouldn’t know, i haven’t been back to reddit
Damn. So many Lemmy clients and none for Kbin.
Does it work with Kbin?
In my experience it isn’t if it’ll work, it’s if it’ll have enough space for all my music. I still have a couple old iPods, including the original Touch, but I have way more than 16GB worth of music now.
If you just want something simple for your own music with no ads, check out iBroadcast.
yeahhh the free internet is a bit like a wild west. maybe ain’t for children. maybe gotta keep em behind more secure digital walls while they’re growing before letting em loose. but still gotta teach em media literacy and safe internet practices and such.
but lbr this isn’t gonna stop the more persistent kids
me on kbin not knowing lemmy didn’t have these things… damn lol
The last time I tried to make a USB dual-boot Linux on a laptop I ended up breaking the laptop. It would turn on but show nothing but a black screen. Makes me really hesitant to try again on an old laptop that I would still like to be able to use if I fuck it up.
I use Stitcher
