I’m not sure what has given Spain their perspective but at least in Ireland there is no amount of propaganda you could throw at us to change public perception here, largely on a moral ground, but we also have that sweet, sweet history of oppression. We were all horrified on October 6th but there’s no justification for the current genocide.
Really fucking tired of antisemitism bring bandied about as the reason for our support too. Children are being shot in the street, losing limbs and being starved as a weapon of war FFS. Antisemitism is a real and nasty thing and the word is being cheapened by the hour.

I fully agree, however I took the previous jobs to be as a highlight of the lack of experience rather than mockery for what it’s worth.
Like if the lad had been balls deep in relevant internships or something it would have given more credence.
Certainly no shade here on the jobs he did.
As for Yorkshire pudding. It’s a case of a good one is absolutely amazing, while an average one is just meh. It also needs a good gravy to dip it in. Hence why it goes so well with a roast.
Ah she’s an incredible cook and I’m reliably informed that her Yorkshire’s are legendary level. As with everything she cooks them from scratch (like even her bread is home cooked on the daily) so they were pleasant alright.
I do find her gravy a bit thin myself (again she does it from scratch like some crazy woman). I like my gravy thick AF and have no problem taking it from a tub haha. No bisto though. That’s muck IMO. Anyway I might like them more with my thick peasant gravy as you say.

Yorkshire pudding - name of locality of origin included. Generally only served with a “Sunday roast” dinner as a side dish. It is made from a batter and not a pastry.
Cornish pasty - again name of locality of origin included. Wide range of fillings available nothing even vaguely similar to a Yorkshire despite your poor attempt to lump it in.
Eccles is a sweet treat. The pastry is nothing like either a Yorkshire or a pasty.

Used to love smoked kippers as a child. Different English man introduced me to them. They strike me as a very British thing also.
Never quite got the Yorkshire with a roast thing myself but my sister lives over there and is fully converted on them. I mean they’re good like but I’d happily live without them.

I use IMDB a lot so a few things worth noting: initial scores tend to be high as you have folks who actively wanted to see it voting. There is inevitably a drop off as folks who aren’t “into” a specific genre watch and vote. It then it gets harder over time to change the score as more votes have cemented the average. There are currently 305K votes so that 7.1 is likely stuck forever now.
It definitely lost money but there was a fan push for a sequel that seemed to have a bit of steam for a while.
Urban played the perfect Dredd. He absolutely nailed the comic book and Anderson and Ma-Ma were superb too. Definitely one of my favourite sci-fi flicks of all time.

Yeah that’s the lad. The history of Rome is incredible. I only fell into Revolutions because I needed something to fill the gap after history of Rome and his style is very easy listening.
I’m being a bit more picky with the sections I listen to in revolutions but really enjoying it so far.
