I’m very curious to know how many people in this thread disparaging the game have actually played it.

Because despite the bitching it still has a very respectable user base, at least purely looking at the Steam stats:

It’s a decent game but a terrible one if you are comparing it to the original Overwatch.

I find the Samples (what I’m assuming you’re referring to by saying “shorts”) feature actually kinda useful for discovering new music. I flip through it every few months to hear snippets of recent hits or what YouTube might think I’d be interested in without committing to listening to an entire song.

Someone on Lemmy did a markdown test of all existing Lemmy apps and posted the results. Raccoon was one of the worst performers, and after seeing the results the dev went nuclear.

Here’s a comment on the original post talking about it. I think the thread’s OP ended up removing Raccoon from their results but the damage was already done.

Let’s say a user decides to download an app from the Play store but the app contains code that is malicious or harmful, users are protected by Google Play Protect which is a security feature that scans apps for malware and other threats.

Then why was that app approved for distribution on the Play Store

The Nitronic Rush soundtrack is some really awesome techno. It feels very Tron-esque at times.

I would love a remaster of Nitronic Rush, although I have no idea if it’s content is included in Distance already.
