Your premise is that these countries have a binary choice between either using mines in a “responsible” way or be conquered by Russia which uses mines in a bad way.
This is a fallacy because there are in fact many other plausible outcomes:
Chemical warfare? Cluster munitions? Bombing of population centers?
The point of international law on warfare is that they apply to everyone regardless of circumstances. What you’re suggesting is war crimes in self-defense.
That’s clearly a false dichotomy.
OIP is just a branch of Elbit, so yes 100% of profits go to a company fueling genocide. I don’t see you dispute that.
OIP doesn’t even claim that these protestors destroyed equipment destined for Ukraine (nor is there any corroborating evidence), only that it was delayed.

… according to Israeli genocide-supporting arms manufacturer.
By buying American aircraft?
It’s an absolutely massive amount of money. And it’s not temporary while there’s a war in Ukraine, it’s indefinitely. All because Trump pressured the rest of NATO and wants more money going to his buddies in the weapons industry.
Even without the US, European NATO countries already spend more than Russia and China (sources from 2024 and 2025). Just how much more should it get?
But even if you do buy on Amazon sometimes, why should that make you on board with surrendering your city to this billionaire? It’s part of this toxic obsession of finding minor ‘gotchas’/hypocrisies instead of debating substance. You MUST subscribe to every belief of team A and hate everything from team B.
“You’re telling me none of these people shop on Amazon?” said New Orleans native Jake Springer, who, along with his wife, was spending a weekend in Venice on a wine tour through Italy. “At least they are protesting peacefully. Americans could learn a thing or two from this.”
They found the dumbest possible American to give a comment.

This is basically how Wikipedia users communicate still.
They can make it so much harder to do that, to the point where almost everyone just gives up.
If you’re upset that your hacked-to-bits, rooted, unlocked and/or unencrypted device is failing checks: I’d say, tough luck. Until we can create provably untampered app-containers, that level of access genuinely breaks TOS on apps and regulations on handling personal data.
Hard disagree. If you own the device, you should be in full control of what’s going on. Sure, attestation can give some extra security, but that decision should be up to the user. Everything else is just excuses for user hostile DRM: platforms levaraging technology to secure their own profit margin against the interests of user.
I get your point, but the US prison system is also really horrible. Healthcare is terrible and prisoners have a very high chance of dying from lack of proper treatment. Every year in prison lowers your life expectancy by two years (source).
If a government is fighting for survival while it has a bunch of horrible weapons lying around like I described, they are absolutely going to use them. No question about it. That’s why you should ban the development and production of these things even in peacetime and that’s why international treaties are so important.
