100% agree with you. Growth must not be the goal, maybe a byproduct. Focusing on growth will eventually compromise the quality of our experience.

I did achieve something through protest: pushing out an invading army. Beirut 2005. But please tell me more about your inconveniences.
The time and effort you put into typing this comment, would have been better spent discussing the more important, relevant and dangerous issues you can find simply in the headline. 1- big oil has our politicians in their pockets. 2- The UK government is putting people in jail for protesting, not rioting. And so what if you’re late for work? Are you so overpaid that you prioritize getting to the office on time over a protest to avoid planetary genocide? Turn off your car and join the march!!
Chained Echoes as recommended by a friend. What. A. Game!!! 30 hours in now and i can easily see myself going 100 hours on this. Beautiful story, art and mechanics, tons of old school jrpg feels. Love it
All they need to know is how much it sold. We’re 3 months in on a game that takes less than 50 hours to complete.
The speech was very balanced and fair. The problem to the israeli government is that it did not throw all of the blame on palestinians or hamas, and therefore they took offence.
I can’t wait to play it t🤩
It wouldn’t necessarily be a parking lot though would it? That’s just convenient for your argument. The truth is it would be extra easy and cheap to turn golf courses into public parks, with local trees and flowers instead of water guzzling grass. That would improve weather events, wildlife and human lives’ quality in the area.
Capitalist, socialist, communist, it doesn’t matter so much. This is more about greed, the fallibility of man, and insufficient / inadequate controls. Oil companies make enough money that they can buy legal protection; it’s a matter of finding politicians (or people of enough influence) that are willing to suck … for some cash.
THAT is the truth. They can love or hate the situation but there’s nothing they can do about it. So, no point in generalising and hating on Russians. Save it for Putin, the Russian gov and there butt-licking oligarchs
What a silly response. Americans can’t get their leaders to allow them a minimum living wage, yet this guy wants Russians to topple a terrorist state. Stop with the group labeling. Not everyone has the knowledge / courage / ability / nothing-to-lose attitude that it takes to fight organized government mafia that’s been throwing opponents out of the Kremlin windows without restraint. Let’s give the Russian people the benefit of doubt regarding their intentions, and not call them all terrorists at least.
Feedly does a good job with the free version. I just went back to it a few weeks ago.
Now it just needs to drop another 90% or so 😅 😅
Action should be taken on all fronts, and I would argue that big companies should be made to take action before squeezing households into it. The opposite is happening unfortunately. I feel guilt every time I do the dishes, while the clothing industry is overusing and polluting everyone’s water. That won’t stop me from making the effort, but we need to burn down some parliaments if we are ever to see big corps react.
Yes. Failing which they will eventually fall for a class-action.
I was gonna reply, it has, right about the time it was created.

Remember, Trump moved the whole US embassy to Jerusalem just to give Palestinians the middle finger. https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN1I810Z/ You can be sure that a very high majority of US politicians will take the same pro-Israel stand. The reason is simply campaign funding and lobbying. Look at AIPAC
