Yakuza is a very japanese game.

It is has a serious narrative about crime, politics, family issues, corruption and honor. And in the next scene you’re spending thousands of dollars (yens?) on a custom toy car to win a slot car championship or building your own go kart and race against other gangster.

Let’s just say that this is not too out of the ordinary.

Oh yes…don’t get me wrong. I think OSU can be a great tool to practice aiming. I’ve seen League of Legends players using it to farm better too.

It’s just that I don’t think one can play a FPS like they play OSU. They have more “dimensions”, I guess.

The video is impressive but it’s basically a OSU pro player playing OSU with a gun.

I don’t know if the skill would transfer to a FPS e-sport, though. I wonder how the key mapping would look like with various movement, skills and what not.

Maybe there’s a way to share music that’s on Funkwhale here. They’re on the fediverse too so at least it should be possible to integrate the systems.

There are effective ways to be discovered on Mastodon: by being boosted by others and by using hashtags.

If a user wants to be discovered they should be using hashtags. If they’re not prioritizing discovery then they shouldn’t. And the “consumer” (for lack of a better word) can follow those hashtags, so they appear automatically on their home timeline.

If a user wants to make their followers to know about a person then they should boost their content. That’s how relationship works on real life: Your friend sees something cool and snows it to you.

When we use forums there’s also an opportunity to correct (or be corrected) on how we deal with problems.

I’ve seen a few times people asking how to do X while they’re actually trying to do Y. ChatGPT would gladly direct them to the wrong path.
