I think you get something mixed up here. Innocence is not the same as being above the law. Innocence means you didn’t do anything outside the law.

Yeah, and they can do in space whatever they want (probably). But if they want to operate on earth providing a service within a country, they have to abide by the law of this country or stay out of it.

It’s like American Internet companies have to follow EU law if they want to operate in the EU, even if the company itself or their servers are in the US. GDPR privacy laws is a good example.

If Starlink refuses to comply or hinders others to comply, they are in contempt to the Supreme Court orders.
As long as this order is within the law, it shouldn’t matter if Starlink and X are connected or not.

And even if they are in orbit “above” the law, the ruling is only about their operating in brazil not about the satellite itself. And their operations within the country of Brazil do have to comply with Brazilian law and courts.

Because they are in the southern hemisphere their winter and summer are the opposite to seasons in europe and America.

When you are traveling on the common backpacker routes, you’ll met a lot of young Israelis who recently finished their military service.

My expierience with them is, that those who are open minded and look at the world, are very much against what the narrow minded fundamentalists are doing at home and in Palestine.

We have to stop to condem big groups of people on the actions of a few. This just makes us xenophobic, racist and hostile to everything different.

Not all Israelis are violent fundamentalists. Judge the government and official forces, not the people.
Not all Palestinians are Hamas terrorists.
Not all Muslims are Islamists.
Not all Americans are white supremacists or suport immigrant children in cages.
Not all Germans are or were Nazis.
Not all mexicans are cartel gangsters.

I’m not surprised. That’s what Israeli settlers are doing for decades, not just since October.

Tell me how people should not get radicalized, when your home and existence and that of your family is constantly threatened.

I’m not condoning the actions of Hamas, they are brutal and wrong. But Israel created that beast themselves and left Palestinians with no other options.

• 700 + ‘a few dozen’ Israeli civilians
• 38.000 Palestinian civilians

I come out at closer to 1:50.
But math never was my strength.

Now they are comparing a basket of apples with a truckload of oranges. You can’t tell me the number of civilians killed are even in the same ballpark.
