This also annoys me about mods removing posts that are even slightly not related. There weren’t many places to ask so why push questions to uber small communities
What? If it goes down here you also lose everything.
Any further advice? I tried many guides but none worked. Going insane.
Memos is a great idea because you can search tags and dates
Ah okay I searched dropbear, this seems like a helpful solution!
Another comment made me think unlocking via ssh would be good too
I have Tailscale access to the network. Could you please tell me what I should search to be able to ssh input the password? Currently I cannot ssh prior to the password being inputted.
This would be a great solution! Secure and mobile
Goal is to boot when I’m away if UPS loses power. Setup is a fedora server with /dev/sda3 encrypted, the whole drive. I want it to auto unlock when I cannot type it in myself.
I’m doing this for when I’m out of town and want it to startup and open if the UPS loses power.
Could it be a TPM issue?
That’s a cool device! Never heard of it before. Def not 100% what I imagined but this is still a cool find. Thank you for thinking of me a week later :)
thanks for linking me to that comment!
Also, so glad I’m on my own instance so I can welcome lemmygrad content! Thanks for responding :)
I don’t get that phrase. Isn’t windows mostly desktop use? How is this more desktop oriented?
Other than lightweight what do you find appealing about it?
I like with Linux that what I learn on my servers and desktops transfers.
Get on the free prime and epic games ;)
Just heard about it this week. Read the article. Have zero clue why anyone would use this? It mentions having two applications that users might want and claims to be faster than Linux.
Also love the phrasing of the best OS outside of windows and Unix family. Thats saying very little lol
That’s kind of cool but why not just share .torrent to your friends? Does this have rss-like function
This happened to me last February. I believe at that time it was online first and if it was offline then synced it would destroy all local files.
But I was a lot less knowledgeable then than now so it may have some degree of user error.
Glad it’s been good for you! I’m using NC now but only for files
How to turn a tv into a crt? That’s kind of funny
