Why wouldn’t it be generated and sent immediately? If someone has the inclination to do this type of thing, they probably also want to do things synchronously and immediately.

Meh, humanity is getting what it deserves. We literally did this to ourselves.
I just don’t understand how people find accounts they like to follow.
Eh, lots of stuff can be easy to learn, difficult to master.
Most languages only take a few minutes to do a “hello world” app.
When you announce you’re comfortable with something, it probably depends on the scale of the apps you’re used to working on.
So a junior dev could very well feel they’ve learned something like react after two days of cramming.
Desktop OS on a tablet is fine and even preferred depending on what you want it for.
I have a surface and don’t mind using full windows that way.
I have a surface and I love it. At the same time, I hardly use the stylus.
I’m sure it’s the reason many get it, but I also think there’s a large audience for a tablet without one.
I’ve seen that about Ubuntu a few times. Can someone provide me with a TLDR or a good summary article of what’s happened to them? Also is it their server stuff too or just desktop? (I use Ubuntu on my home server and have for years)
Things like weather will be fine unless you have an unreasonable boss/job.
But people should only use work computers the way they would if they knew the entire company was watching a live stream of their desktop.
Even for working from home, I put my work laptop on the isolated guest wifi because I don’t trust them the same way they don’t trust me.
This is the case with anything to do with health. And often the best feelings are when some form of unpleasantness dissipates.
Ok, sure. Please tell me what I can do that will actually make a difference other than having it be a major influence in the way I vote?
This is a problem that only governments can solve and voting is the only way average people can hope to really influence them.
One person recycling or driving an EV makes no difference to the entire planet.
Let’s say I’m motivated. Wtf can I do that will actually. Make a difference. I could live off the grid or I could just spend all my money buying gas to literally just burn.
In the end, the planet will be exactly the same.
The only way to get real change is through large governments and beyond voting or talking to peers, hoping to convince them to vote for climate action, I just don’t see what I can do.
I mixed piracy with s couple of tge larger streaming sites for a while. I’m 99% piracy now. (technically have prime video, but don’t watch it)
I never stopped using Firefox
I’m interested to know which accounts to follow for lemmy news. Seems like a natural place to go when having trouble connecting like I did with fmhy before and shit just works recently.
I’ve found myself taking my Steam Deck into the washroom instead of using reddit in there. Play a game for 10 minutes instead of doom scrolling.
You actually agree with me more than you disagree. If they have the mentality to send out clear text passwords, they probably don’t hage the natural talent to design an asynchronous system.
