@nlm @Barbarian Yes, me and @sj_zero have been having lots of trouble getting #Kbin to federate properly

@liaizon @technology I didn’t know it was possible to post to #Lemmy communities from the #Fediverse, that’s awesome!
@TheOneCurly I’ve been noticing massive #Kbin federation issues, even from the small instance that I’m on, kbin.projectsegfau.lt
@dirtmayor Now that’s just stupid. And I generally like the guy.
@legion @TendieMaster69 Are you onboarding using the browser or using the official #Mastodon app? Onboarding online is a lot more understandable than onboarding in the app IIRC
@RandomBit I’m not aware of exactly what issues #Signal has, but I know it’s centralized so I’m not a big fan of that
@RandomBit @jmcs I prefer #Matrix.
I don’t find #Signal or #Telegram (which is worse, it’s basically a honeypot) to be particularly secure, but I don’t see anything other than something like those platforms catching on with the masses as a sort of #USA-centric #Whatsapp-style replacement for text messaging.
Both #Apple and #Google need to come up with a consensus on the successor for #MMS, or else I could see another platform or app replacing both.
@OneRedFox @amki Yep. There’s #Kbin and #Lotide.
@CalcProgrammer1 @diemunkiesdie That sounds dope! What’s it called?
