This is a topic in the 3 body problem series of books. The aliens have photons (?) that spy on everything the humans do so the humans have no way of planning against their attack without them knowing. The humans assign a few people to make plans with no oversight and without telling anyone else their plan.

There’s a gun available called The sinden lightgun it doesn’t use infra red, it had a high speed camera in the barrel and monitors it’s position relative to the border of the TV. Works brilliantly on modern tvs and even projectors.

It just changes the direction of the cable so instead of sticking straight up the cable gets redirected and now is nearly behind the deck and flowing down.

So, apparently, the term goofy came from the 1937 Disney animation Hawaiian Holiday, where goofy was trying to surf and he tried twice regular and fell then when he tried it the other way he managed to stay up.
This was only so that he would always be facing the ‘camera’.

A heads up for anyone else having an issue with the android app and the new version with the https server. There is a segment of the nginx config file you will need to remove that was a workaround for version 10.8 that is no longer needed and should be removed. Can’t remember which section right now.

I travel a lot for work with a not very big weight allowance so it has replaced my laptop as my daily machine.
I game on it, use it for discord and dndbeyond to play dnd at work, have jellyfin on it to stream media to my phone+ar glasses, and use it to access my home server to deal with downloads and my main jellyfin server.
It’s an awesome tool.

I’m on an oil rig in the north sea and last time this happened I was stuck out here for an extra week. I’m due home on Friday. Really really hoping this time isn’t at bad.
