In my personal (and therefore, limited) experience, engagement is much harder to get in the fediverse. I hope it improves, but it’s not easy to find people you don’t know in order to follow them, and vice versa.

You can look at a MS Word doc someone sends you and detect the license. Apps can phone home all the time to report your status. Just because you’ve never noticed ot or no one ever caught you doesn’t mean there’s ‘no way’.

Well, to be fair, Zelle sucks, but point taken.

If you have two devs pair programming, at least one of them is being slowed tremendously. It should be used very sparingly and only in junior/senior mentoring attempts. Putting two senior devs on pair programming is nearly always just slashing your dev productivity.

I’ve seen devs take 3 days to write code in pair programming that either one could’ve completed on their own in 4 hours or so.

It should be noted that Elon Musk is very much in danger of losing control of Twitter, because he’s defaulting to Twitter’s creditors.

Sure, in less than a year, he’s lost 59% of Twitter’s revenue and the value of the company has fallen 54% by Wall Street estimations. But the real danger is that Musk isn’t paying his creditors, and that gives them leverage.
