If you go under the toggle, there are 2 sections with all of the apps listed in them, at least on my end there is.

    • Apps that do not show the reminder. They have the checkbox cleared.
    • Apps that show the reminder. They have the checkbox filled.

See if selecting what apps helps. I’ve had it setup for a while, so I don’t remember if you need to opt-in a bunch of apps, or it defaults everything in, but you need to deselect.

  • What kind of hospital let him get near the room with that kind of metal around his neck? I’ve had to be in several hospitals recently for different imaging issues and every time the MRI is a thing I have to remove everything metal to go past a certain door (escorting my daughter and son for medical reasons). I don’t know who let him anywhere near the room with something that large.

Edit for Clarity: I’ve had to be the one removing all metal even though I’m not the one being scanned. For me to progress beyond a certain part of the hospital toward the MRI I needed to get rid of everything. My children were being scanned, not me. So, I’m not sure what hospital system allowed this man with a 9kg chain get this far deep into the imaging area.

  • It’s called Digital Wellbeing now, but same idea.

You can also set “Screen Time Reminders” that pop up every 5 minutes to show you how long you’ve been in the app.

Also, in this same space, you can set App Limits and set a certain amount of time an app is available while using the screen. This is not counted if it’s in the background or the screen is off. So, if you have a limit on Youtube, but use it in the background to listen to podcasts or music it doesn’t count towards the limits.

I don’t know of any other app that provides the kind of basic functionality already built into the OS. Also, if they update to suddenly do something nefarious, you’ve given them admin permissions to know app usage, and draw over apps so they can show you the time. What else could they do with those permissions if you just update without reading fully?
