I wonder if where you have your account affects how you notice where the trolls are from? Like I don’t notice trolls coming from .world much because I just see a username, where a troll from .ml is username@lemmy.ml

You can’t just ignore the second part of that sentence which gives the right to make commits to all citizens of earth. That would include the person who wrote the last commit.
10.9.0 is the latest. It just launched a day or two ago.
It’s a play on a Mad Max: Fury Road quote.
I’ve sort of done the same thing. Most console games are optimized around their ‘quality’ game mode. Many games will have the quality mode be a solid locked 30 fps while performance will be a low res, blurry mess running at an unlocked frame rate between 40-55 fps. I’ll happily play at 30 fps to avoid those issues.
Do not, my friends, become addicted to 60 fps. It will take hold of you, and you will resent its absence!
It’s supposed to be hardware transcoding with on an Intel cpu (using vaapi) . No idea if it’s actually working.
I have this issue whenever I have to deal with transcoding. The stream will usually die after a few minutes of watching. I haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary in the logs. I’ve just resigned myself to lugging around the device I have that can direct stream the files.
When looking for media online, you pretty much just need a good adblocker and the sense not to run any random executables.
The media files themselves are very unlikely to have malware attached. They would need to exploit a bug in the specific video player you are using and then exploit another bug in your OS to get admin privileges before doing any real damage. It’s pretty much just theoretical. Keep your stuff up to date and don’t worry about it.
Tinder isn’t verifying it. It’s just a joke.
There are plenty of posts on Lemmy where many of the commenters clearly didn’t read the article. It just depends on how click-baity the title is.
The second movie came out in 2022 and the third one doesn’t come out until 2025.
It does include the DLC.
The series S is the lowest spec console that they are targeting. In order to get the performance they want out of it, they are trying to optimize as much of the game as they can. Those optimizations have decreased the amount of RAM, VRAM, and CPU load the game is using and those optimizations affect the PC version as well.
I actually had a whole paragraph about junctions being a limit and then deleted it since i didn’t feel like it added to my point. I also was going to add a point about how much space the lanes take up and that even if more lanes added capacity, it didn’t necessarily mean they were the right option.
It does increase the capacity of roads. Two lanes holds twice as many cars as one lane. Four lanes hold twice as many cars as two lanes.
You’re probably thinking of induced demand, but that’s related to traffic congestion and not capacity. More lanes ultimately means more cars are getting places, but any individual car will see that congestion is just as bad as it used to be.
I don’t know about the other two, but I know one of them is SimAnt.
Daytime photos show that this is the building next to the church. The church itself is still standing, though one wall was destroyed.
I’m just saying that the ‘IP addresses change’ argument is something courts have been dealing with for decades at this point. It’s a useless argument since ISPs keep track of who was assigned which IP at which time.
Every piracy lawsuit deals with that question. They simply subpoena the ISP, asking who was given that IP address at the given time. The ISPs keep track of that and they will give you up in the face of a subpoena.
It’s why people always make such a big deal about using a VPN that doesn’t log. The idea is that if your VPN provider doesn’t keep track of your activities, it can only respond to a subpoena with a “Sorry, we don’t keep track” letter instead of selling you out.
Of each set of 3, you can only have one marked as most wanted and one marked as least wanted. You will leave one statement blank.
