It definitely was awesome if you were someone who gets bored of games easily and moves on. I think I get a high from the whole new game thing then it dissipates after a few hours.
I thought it was a good deal when it was 15 buy I canceled ages ago. I just never played any of the games. For some it probably still is a good deal if you are the type of gamer I am. I have about 3 games I consistently come back to, those games I own on Steam. Then I’m pretty much a tourist otherwise. I play a game for a few hours, get bored and move on to the next and will never play it again.
I just simply dont monitor most things. I do have a few things such as low disk space and failed backups. They are just simple shell scripts that send me an ntfy message when there is a problem.
My experience is the same as yours, but I think the people complaining are the ones who are federated and are in large communities. Matrix apparently doesnt handle large rooms very well.
I sometimes wonder if those celebrities are being paid though. I have no evidence of that, it just seems like something Scientology would do to try to gain traction.
Anecdote but ive been hosting Plex for family members for 10+ years. I tried the Jellyfin switch. Compared to Plex the Jellyfin apps are pretty bad, and I had a ton of performance problems with the remote streaming as well. Its just not ready for that use case. Family members begged me to go back to Plex.
My family at home and myself, we are using Jellyfin currently. It works OK for home use but there are days I want to go back to Plex. Its just a more polished experience.
Ya, at least he recognized there was someone out there smarter than him and brought him in as an advisor.
He got promoted you dont lose your PTO when you get promoted.
Has there been any progress on the actual map data? Last time I tried Organic Maps the places I wanted to go didn’t come up in search, and when I planned a road trip with it it planned the trip hours longer than Google maps.
That would only be if you use their cloudflare tunnel feature
Microsoft Rewards was worth it maybe 5 years ago now its not worth the hastle.
I wouldn’t be a Linux user if it weren’t for flatpaks. Finally I can install the apps I need and they just work.
Did they fix harwarde decoding on the Konstakang build? Last I tried 4k content was unplayable.
I stopped upgrading about 4 years ago. Kinda terrified to update at this point. Everything just works the way it is so I don’t dare touch it anymore.
The kinect was near useless but I had fun with it. At one point I set it up to control Kodi with hand gestures. It was clunky but kinda cool. Good times.
It boggles my mind that they aren’t just packaging up old games into an exe and posting them one by one on Steam. Its free money.
Its a Lenovo Legion with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800h and a NVIDIA 3070 GPU.
I’m not sure if its my hardware or if I’m doing something wrong but I’ve tried Plasma several times and its just so buggy I end up going back to Gnome.
The most recent attempt I had a plasma process that kept kicking off by itself and maxing out my CPU.
Would Nym work with Glueten? It seems bewz so its not listed on their github but it supports wireguard so maybe it does.
