i’d like for this too. i know a lot of people in general have pretty eclectic music tastes, but i only really like a couple genres, and would rather just be able to only listen to new music from those genres if possible

i’ve been playing a khajiit in my current run through and have been really heavy on the rp, using khajiit speak mods and such. khajiit likes this, [character name] wants that, “this one”, the works. it’s gotten bad enough that i’ve caught myself almost replying to people in real life with khajiit speak rather than using “i” pronouns on multiple occasions 💀💀
wtf this is actually true though 💀💀💀
man, i remember when the original of this came out. i was pretty young and thought jinx was SO cool, loved everything about her. i like this cover a lot :) thanks for bringing back good memories!
wait what 😅 context?
get scared has been one of my favourite bands lately. i’ve been loving their mix of singing and screaming, the singers voice, and the use of instruments like guitars and drums. i definitely prefer rock over other genres, so the instruments are super important to me as both a backboard for vocals and a catchy break between verses, and i think they do a great job of both.
the lyrical matter can be pretty edgy (for lack of a better word) at times, but most music i listen to tends to be like that anyway, and i don’t personally mind.
for anyone interested in more, i recommend Don’t You Dare Forget the Sun, Voodoo, and Suffer.
seconded! this one was excellent
all of spirit phone is really good! love neil’s stuff :)
i wouldn’t exactly say perfect, but it’s better than we feed so far in my opinion
hahaha i always think of him too when i hear them!
wasn’t expecting to like these as much as i did! taking back sunday is a band i’ve been meaning to look into for a long time, but have never really gotten around to. and blackwater holylight, while a little bit low energy for me personally, has a really lovely laid back sound that i like too!
your ghengis khan suggestion reminds me of this ghengis kahn which is a pretty different genre, but pretty catchy nonetheless
i like the melody, and while i see what they’re doing with the mix of a higher female singer and lower, more gritty male singer, i don’t think that works for me personally. i also tend to be really picky about singers’ voices in what i listen to haha :)
thanks for sharing!
thanks so much! this looks super awesome :)
hi, do you think you could walk me through how to download something like this or point me in the direction of a guide or something that could? i’ve been using lemmy just on browser but would be interested in something like this, i’ve just never installed anything like it before and don’t quite know what to do :) thanks!
yiiiiikes i definitely did miss that!
imo the novelty of john oliver will wear off soon, and people will want regular content again. so long as mods stay firm that regular content is not allowed, users will be dissatisfied and lower their engagement. though it’s not a perfect plan (people could just use different subs), it’s better than nothing
wow, this is awesome! i’ve seen some other tables like this for ttrpgs before, and they just seem sooo complicated to build but also so awesome for gaming! does it have any other uses you’ve found than just roleplaying games?
was that the bit about all of this blowing over or did i miss something?
same. i’d like to spend most of my browsing time here on lemmy rather than reddit if possible, but i doubt i’ll fully leave anytime soon. unless my favourite communities (r/battlejackets, r/visiblemending, r/posthardcore, etc.) migrate, i’ll be going back from time to time for them and their like minded user base
though not as home oriented as most posters here, i have a denim jacket i’ve been working on for the past couple months. have been making and sewing my own patches on, and am currently looking at dyeing the sleeves, though i’ve been procrastinating from that a bit ;)
