I feel like Nix is a good deployment platform, whereas Arch is a good development platform.
It’s as if violence begets violence.
Putin succeeds at reraising the iron curtain.
A release candidate is released. Wow!

That’s just vigilante justice.
If they achieve their goals skirting the law, you don’t get to prosecute them. Make them cross the line. Then they go to jail.
I’m always torn on things like this. Yes, the was probably a bunch of Nazi edge-lords choosing an song with imflametory connections. They are signalling to others what and who they are.
However, getting enflamed about it just broadcasts the existence of such groups. The press are amplifying the signal. It’s free marketing.
The song itself is militaristic and nationalistic, but speaks of the Kiaser and the German empire. i.e. what was before WW1. It’s imperialist, as you might expect from something written in 1814. I can see why the Nazis adopted it, but it’s a boring dirge that is from a bygone era. There’s little to get upset about in the song itself. It’s all about the association.
The rise of groups like this is something to be worried about, and Austria does seem to be a focal point. I just think hyping up scandals is fueling the fire.
I’m sure that’s how it works at the ballot box too.

The politicking and project management around the distro has annoyed a lot of people.
I agree. I think these people are serving as “useful idiots”. They don’t know they’re being manipulated by oil interests. Ther think they are fighting the good fight. They are undoubtedly benefiting those they claim to be against.
I’m talking of an effect like a dirty bomb, not thermonuclear detonation.
That’s not an ICBM
Ukraine built a lot of it.
Nobody is going to put radioactive material on the top of something that explodes in the home country. Pelting that much hazardous material into the atmosphere will be a very bad outcome.
It doesn’t hide. It makes them happen first and, here’s the important bit, closes their scope quickly.
I think the only positive that may come out of all this conflict is the decimation of oil and gas infrastructure in Russia and the Middle-East. It’s already forced Europe to transition away from natural gas faster.
It’s not going to do anything for emissions in the short term, because oil vats going up in smoke isn’t exactly green, but with any luck countries will need to find alternatives before capacity can be built back.
