In the past they would’ve been old and grumpy and then died before they could cause real problems. Now with old people living longer than ever they can fuck things up for the rest of us.

Globally our biggest problems are cultural. West vs. East rhetoric should have been left in Ancient Greece.

It has observational value. For instance comparing how housing is mismanaged across Europe North America, New Zealand and Australia in comparison to Asia – is tedious to type when Western culture is far easier and clearly conveys the point when talking about how the cost of living has been exploited in a way that prevents young below average families from having children and has resulted in very low unsustainable fertility rates. That is absolutely western culture centric. It has nothing to do with dichotomous logic or decisive partisan rhetoric, quite the opposite is true in the principal and nuanced point

It is really ignorant to assume that 1) All “Western” culture is the same and 2) “Eastern” culture doesn’t have numerous issues itself.

The point is the problem is cultural globally. Everyone has problems, and they are all rooted in their cultures.
