    During the arrests, border patrol agents reportedly lined the 44 firefighters up and ordered them to produce identification, according to The Seattle Times, with crew members telling how they were not allowed to film the encounter.

    Why aren’t American citizens allowed to use their First Amendment right to record activities in public?

      Because the US is a fascist-controlled state now, which means that Wilhoit’s Law is in effect:

      "Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition … There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”

        They’re wildland firefighters. They hike or fly in and camp for sometimes weeks at a time. Generally they have very little beyond shovels and survival tools to defend themselves in that situation.
