A Republican Florida state representative has filed a bill that would require all the colleges and universities in the state to rename specific roads in the hearts of their campuses after Charlie Kirk -- under the threat of withholding state funding if they do not comply.
That their complaint about the post being a distraction from other issues would have been a much more reasonable take in a space meant only for “grown up” politics discussion than in a space for weirdness that also encompasses seriousness when appropriate.
They’re talking about the news being a distraction, not your post.
