    I literally couldn’t read the article, as it kept reloading the page every few seconds, jumping out of reader view and to its fundraising banner. I’m guessing that’s some kind of copy protection against people not looking at ads or something. In any case, it worked.

      while I didn’t have that issue myself, I tested it and the site works well enough with JS disabled.
