This is the reason I always advise people not to be always nice. Be nice once in a while. That way people will speak of you like He’s a nice guy, actually. Wheareas if you try to be nice to everyone every time, one little rejection(or mishap, or basically anything that doesn’t tickle other people’s fancies) will make you look shitty.

The UN is not useless. The whole point is to facilitate conversation between governments. They were never intended to have authoritative power.
