That’s interesting that you couldn’t control cast audio with the volume buttons, it works fine for me! I’m on an S23U, but I feel certain it also worked in my S21U…
does it work for you outside of the app? like if you are casting to for example a google nest hub, and on your phone try to change the nest hub’s volume while browsing other stuff.
