By… Enforcing a blockade of companies that trade with Israel?
Jeez, you’re really starting to sound like an antisemite with your idiotic “Jews control the world” narrative. Are you going to pull out an octopus emoji next?
I never said anything like that. The Houthis have attacked ships that are entirely irrelevant to the Israelis. That’s why they’ve declared war on the world. I’ve been pretty clear about that. So we’re done here since you want to try and insert stupid stuff.
Globalization sort of means that a lot of ships and shipping companies are relevant to the Israelis.
Edit: if you name a ship that was struck with AIS off… There’s a reason it’s a violation of international law to turn off AIS. People might think you’re trying to avoid sanctions, or something.
That’s not how sanctions, blockades, or embargoes work. The world economy would never survive if it was. If you declare war on anyone whose ever set foot in Israel then you are, again, de facto declaring war on the entire world.
So you admit the Houthis have declared war on the entire world.

Name one.

Al Jasrah.
And no. You don’t get to engage in piracy and then demand your victims let you know where they are.
Aren’t they operated by Hapag Lloyd, which both maintains a Two Aviv office and is currently still shipping to Israel?
Enforcement of sanctions is a legitimate use of AIS. Evasion of sanctions is subject to the appropriate risks.

The Houthis really fucked up.
And yet, COSCO is still transiting Bab-el-Mandeb.
Congratulations you found the exception?
You do realize that that’s exactly what’s happening to Cuba, and the world economy is still functioning?
Oh, wait, are we still pretending that Kennedy didn’t place a blockade on Cuba?
The blockade ended on November 20th 1962. Any non US ships can go to Cuba just fine.
