Wow. How out of touch with reality are you? Israel is fully supported by the entire US government, including many Democrats and almost all Republicans. Biden couldn’t (realistically) cut off support even if he wanted to. Israel is far too important to US interests in the region.

Israel is completely responsible for their own actions. The US isn’t telling them to commit genocide. The International community isn’t doing anything to stop them. All the finger wagging and hopes & prayers are just virtue signaling. The sad fact is no one in power really cares about the Palestinians.

Putting all the blame on Biden/Harris is some Russian shill-level propaganda. That, or you know nothing about international politics.

Has he even tried to cut off support?

Biden admits to being a Zionist. He is also the acting president. He is also responsible, as to a degree are his supporters who turned a blind eye to his support of genocide.

Again, someone who doesn’t understand US foreign policy. We give Israel billions of dollars in aid, which they use to buy our weapons. This serves two goals:

        1. A wealth transfer of taxpayer money goes to defense companies that it uses to pay workers and bribe lobby politicians.

        2. Israel remains the only truly friendly nation in the Middle East. Their continued existence blunts Iran and other Muslim nations from turning their attention fully to the West.

In your entire rebuttal, I see no mention of Congress. Congress controls the purse and has voted against any effort to reduce or deny aid to Israel. Why aren’t you mad at them? Because it doesn’t fit your politics.

Oh I understand US foreign policy alright, “fuck the rest of the world, we’re fine with dictators and genocide if we benefit, especially if you’re brown or Muslim.”

Youse fund mass murdering regimes from South America to the Middle East and anywhere else you can. Human lives aren’t valued, and you’ll torture prisoners for 20 years to find them guilty.

          Fuck US foreign policy.

I fully recognize that Republicans are lock step in favor of genocide. I’m pointing at the current administration because it’s, well, the current administration. They set foreign policy. They approve the arms sales. They provide logistical support to the IDF. They veto UN resolutions. They lie, obfuscate and gaslight the press and constituents who are protesting. Biden has enormous power but is ideologically devoted to the genocide. He has been the only president since Israel’s campaign started. For you to suggest that he doesn’t have agency here, that he doesn’t have responsibility for US policy, that he should be somehow excused from accountability, is nonsensical and a recipe for never accomplishing anything ever. I’m not surprised to hear a such defeatist attitude, as this has basically been the defining characteristic of the Democratic Party for about 40 years. It’s this cowardly, weak sauce, no fight approach to public policy that has facilitated American fascism’s advance to the brink. I have no patience for such bullshit.

I love how you assume that Biden is a King. That, with a wave of his hand, he could deny all aid and stop the war. Your view is so microscopic it’s making me sad. Do you seriously not understand how US politics and interests work? Or is it easier to blame the current guy for decades of (universally supported) bad policy in the world?

The fact that you ignore all responsibilities of both parties to focus only on Democrats shows your arguments to be disingenuous and bad faith. They all bear responsibility.
