Summary
- Israel says Wassem Hazem was the head of Hamas in Jenin
- Hamas confirms the death of three fighters
- Israeli forces keep up large-scale operation in West Bank
- Fighting between Israel and Hamas still rages in Gaza Strip
How so?
The main weapon that Hamas has against Israel is international opinion. The way Hamas wins the current war is by continuing to operate in heavily populated areas until the civilian death toll from fighting there becomes so large that Israel has to retreat in order to avoid losing US support.
Excellent response. Thank you.
I don’t understand your question. Was my statement unclear?
How is it bad for Israel?
Is your question about how this lopsided war, with its huge Palestinian civilian casualties and displaced population and destruction of any goodwill Israel had after Oct 7, is worse for Israel than if they had instead surgically taken out Hamas leadership and left civilians alone?
My question is pretty simple: How is it bad for Israel?
Can you elaborate? I have no idea what you’re asking me here.
I think you have already answered the question actually.
It is bad for Israel because of the
(And I’d add that Israeli citizens and family members of hostages are very upset and frustrated still at the lack of progress in getting the hostages returned. And I’d add how horrible it was when the IDF killed Israeli citizens who were escaped hostages trying to return home. I think one can hold the hostages and their families in the highest regard and with the deepest sympathies, and still understand that there’s something very wrong here.)

Having a huge displaced population along your borders is generally not considered a good thing, after all.
I know, that’s why I said those things. The person clumsily attempting to have a conversation didn’t understand that, though.
No, I really can’t. I have no idea how to make it simpler for you.
What a shame. Sounds like I missed out on a scintillating conversation.
He’s a hardcore Zionist who thinks that Palestinians are subhuman and he’s trying to say that indiscriminately slaughtering civilians is good for Israel.
It’s basically like talking to a cartoon villain Nazi without any self-awareness and I congratulate you for not taking the bait.
I mean, you could try thinking real hard to figure out what that simple question means and answer it honestly, you know if you’re that disappointed.
Quick question: do you support the soldiers that gang rape prisoners(as captured in leaked video) at the pow torture camp run by Israel?
Oh, and before you say it, that is as reported by the Israeli news org Haaretz.
We they officially directed to do so by the Israeli government? Did Israeli authorities prosecute them? How is this related to Israeli support then?
Would you have been one of the 65% of polled Israeli civilians that support the rights of soldiers to gang rape prisoners?
This is related to whether or not you’re a moral person capable of rational discussion or a fascist rape camp supporter.
EDIT: you also didn’t answer the question, which would suggest the answer to everyone else reading this. Most people reading your response are going to assume that you do support that, until you actually say you don’t.
This bullshit answering a question with a question is an obvious deflection to everyone.
Also, are the soldiers who gangraped prisoners in jail, as would be the case in a government on the same continent as moral, or on news shows and game shows talking about how they’re really a good person?
No, I’m simply not entertaining non sequiturs and tu quoques. I at least do you the courtesy of not attributing terrorist beheading videos to all of Islam.
