      You’re right that higher lifeforms have to exist to have memories. But I was stating that life is secondary to the memories we have of someone. Because it’s inevitable that we all die at some point. But the memories of those who lived, are more precious. They are impermanent and momentary.

          I understand your point. But let me ask you this. Does every life create memories worth remembering?

          I’m looking at this from a philosophical perspective, more so than anything else. Just because we exist and have memories of others doesn’t mean that they are all worthwhile to have. There are memories to be forgotten and those that we reinforce as to never forget.
