  • The CB worked out really well. It’s got the retro look and feel, it’s comfortable, it’s smooth. It’s got plenty of power as long as you’re not trying to race with it. It even has a center stand, which is really helpful for any kind of maintenance. Mine’s a 2014, so it’s got the 6 speed gearbox. It’s a little bit wider than I’d like, and even though it doesn’t feel heavy while you ride it, you can feel the weight when you’re pushing it around the garage.


  • It just looked like it was designed for much more of it to be covered up. It didn’t have any style, like no care had been put into aesthetics. I ended up with a CB1100. If I were going to pick a retro twin, I’d probably go with a Triumph Bonneville or the Kawasaki. I ended up finding a used CB1100. I really would’ve preferred a twin, but the price was right and I love the style.
