Any free options available?
Im planning on pulling it strait out of the air for freesies through the use of untrackable antenna technology from 90 years ago.
real pro strat is to buy an ATSC tuner card for your PC and record or stream that shit too
Doing exactly this with tvheadend and a Hauppauge wintv HVR-2250 dual ATSC board. Thanks for reminding me to set it to record.
glad to have been of service. good work.
This is the way.
Also paramount+ has a free 7 day trial.
I need to get a better antenna. I can get Fox and ABC, but NBC and CBS must be too far away.
There are apps/sites that showyou where the antennas for the channels are so you can try to point at the one you want. That might help
I downloaded an app that came with my antenna that shows where the station broadcast antennas are, but unfortunately the room I’m using it in is on the south side of my house, and the two stations I can’t get are North of me
Roof mount would fix that
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. There’s an old Dish Network dish on my roof from the last owner. I need to get an outdoor antenna and find a way to mount it on the dish.
Outdoor antennas are typically pole mount. You might be able to extend the dish pole or just remove the dish and use the mount and cabling.

OMG I’ve never seen anyone use this spelling for my name before. Are you me?
Prolly naaht
What is this sorcery?? /s
Doing that right now with HDHomerun 4k
Unwillingly.
10/10 adverb usage
It’s the little things in life.
Go directly to $p0rt $urge d0t n3t. It’s a curated list of free streams like crack streams, stream east, etc. I’ve been using it since following MMA on reddit 10 years ago. It has everything.
dot gg works better for me, but agreed regardless. it’s my only access to NFL outside the US
I got into this for hockey streams. Sometimes, especially for high traffic events (like the super bowl), streams get pretty rough for me.
Another source that’s mostly for soccer streams (if anybody here could benefit from this into) could be found just by googling the words foot and bite, but replace the space between those words with the letter Y. Very handy to be able to find for in the background or on breaks while at work, especially around the world cup.
Not watching it, I don’t like sportsball
I mean, you don’t even own a TV.
Of course, what the hell are you doing here?
Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

What are going to watch instead?
GTA roleplay on twitch xD
Hell yeah, sign me up

You should be able to find a stream somewhere in there. Ad block definitely recommended before visiting any free streaming site!
Digital antenna. OTA is still free.
One of the few NFL games guaranteed to be OTA
Until ATSC 3.0 is fully adopted. Then, they’re going to turn into cable.
Same. Looks great too.
Rather bold of you to assume I’ll be watching the Super Bowl.
Antenna hooked up to my tivo OTA. Able to record local TV without subscription.
What over the air antenna do you use? Thinking about getting one but the last one I used was spotty at best.
antennaweb.org has all the info you need to make the right choice. It also will tell you how high and what direction to point.
Look up antennaweb.org, like others have said.
I use this one: GE Outdoor HD Digital TV Antenna
You don’t need to spend big money in order to get a great antenna. There are no specialized antennas needed for HD or 4k. Any antenna claiming range over 80 miles is making, being charitable, dubious claims. If it looks like a dildo, it will be a lousy antenna. The new wrinkle to the modern antenna game is the transition to digital. You’ll need a digital tuner to watch OTA now. Lots of TVs have them built in, so you can plug the antenna directly into them. If your TV doesn’t, or you want to stream the OTA channels within your house you’ll need a digital tuner like the HDHomeRun Flex 4k (4 tuners built in).
And the same downsides of antennas from back in the day are still a problem today. If you live in a rural area far from the broadcast centers, you’ll have trouble picking up signal. If you live in a hilly or mountainous area, you’ll have issues. If your local broadcasting areas are all spread out around you instead of one general area, you might have to pick and choose what you actually can pick up.
I live in a major metro area so directions shouldn’t matter and I only need a small omnidirectional. I really don’t want to install one on my roof but I can that being the main recommendation. I would much rather install it on the TV I need when I need it. Since it’s like once or twice a year.
Not watching at all.
- Not watching sport, ever.
- Not in US, so don’t care.
- It’s weekend, when we listen to the radio and don’t watch TV. (Nothing on anyway)
Are you insane?
Duh
I don’t generally watch it, generally because it’s sent in the middle of the night. I don’t watch much sport generally myself, but imo it’s worth watching. Very fun to watch
Free options? Wait, people are paying to watch adverts? Holy shit

Not watching. Sports is boring as fuck to watch. Sports are meant to be an activity to engage in, not sitting on the couch watching someone else have all the fun. Get off the couch, grab some friends, and go throw the ball around!
Or even better, do both
Paramount+ free trial.
I was just about to bite on that but came here first to see if anybody had a good reason against doing this. So far so good?
Yeah used a privacy.com card.
Antenna on roof over here. Just finished checking the alignment. I’m all set!
Edit: just noticed the community. Might not help. Good luck though.
Nope, valid answer! Piracy isn’t about theft, it’s about sharing. Many people pay good money for equipment to be able to share content that they paid for. Nobody gets mad about people visiting friends to watch a movie that only one friend paid for, so most piracy is basically just that but with many friends and without having to visit. Buying an antenna is the original jellyfin server, but on somebody else’s schedule, so live sports is the perfect application of this. If I watched sports more regularly at home, I’d absolutely buy an antenna. I’m tired after 3 12-hour shifts (including today) plus my wife is at work, so I don’t feel like going out to a sports bar this time. Which is also a valid way to share this content!
Not watching, I cut the cord to avoid commercials. But OTA + antenna , as others said, is a solid way to watch network content for free if you can get a good signal.
