Marxism and socialism are not the answer to the ills of capitalism, though. People don’t necessarily want to be responsible for organizing production, and group dynamics which plague capitalist societies will crop up again, leading to unequal distribution of resources, and again fascism.

Such anti-social group dynamics are almost always resultant from the natural levels of greed and self-preservation which people possess, like favoring people from their religion or culture over others.

Capitalism needs to be controlled and made reasonable via high tax rates to reduce funding for lobbying. Under prepared and ill informed masses do not need to be given controls over production. There are also many who want people to give up individual liberties to live in communes. Fuck off with that, no one wants to live in your fucking commune with you.

Under what law would the UK govt do this though? I am not sure it’s a great idea since Musk is a private citizen and not a government actor. Would any govt then extend this precedent to any viral comment? Like the person who made the JD Vance couch comment?

OTOH, Musk is in a unique position because of his money and influence, that a normal commentator does not have. So I don’t know, but seems like a legal quagmire.

If however Musk is shown to funnel money to UK PACs persons or parties via any means, then the UK govt has a case to question him as a hostile foreign operator. But otherwise it seems like a tricky scenario. Perhaps the same legalities around the Assange case extend to this? But Assange was a sympathetic figure in many respects. I am not sure Musk has the same freedom of press and speech justifications.

People need to held accountable for irresponsible rhetoric, but it’s not just that. The working class has always been willing to believe that it can uplift itself by acting as a thug arm of the upper class.

Arranged marriage is not forced marriage. The arrangement is that you meet the potential suitor via family, and if things don’t work out that’s it. You’re not supposed to force or coerce a marriage, at least that’s how it is in most South Asian or Middle Eastern families who practice this

It’s unreasonable to group same-sex relationships with incest. Incest creates psychological power imbalance and damage even between siblings, so thats not a healthy relationship mode to encourage. The main reason why people care so much about each others relationships is because of the community strife and conflict they can possibly create. Doesn’t matter, and same can be said of any religion. What matters is educating people and making them prefer secular states.

It’s kinda ridiculous, I hate that Islamic countries fail the separation of religion and state test. Education is a great way to change it, and just aiming to make people less religiously inclined.
