You may find it hard to believe but that doesnt mean you are right. Most ditros are quite easy to set up. Ubuntu and Mint are both already modified Debian. Why not some other modified one? A distro modified to game is already set up for gaming.

Can someone explain why companies are forcing people to come back to the office? I have a job where I need to be there all day. There are a lot of jobs for people don’t need to be there. And there are a lot of jobs were people are more efficient from home. And there are a lot of jobs where if your company is more efficient working from home and you did not need to own or rent a gigantic building, seems like everything would lead you towards work from home. So I wanted the reason they are trying to get people to go back to the office?

My personal laptop is an HP elite with a 6850h ryzen and its great. Running Ferdora KDE and works amazing. My wife’s MB air M1 is a little nicer, but macOS…ugh

Is this somewhat normal for installing Linux on an old macbook? Everything I install Linux on these days…everything just works. I haven’t gone through something like this in ages. But I have considered getting and old macbook air and putting Linux on it. This is making me think they don’t function very well een though it is intel?
