    I’m guessing everyone with a brain doesn’t want the US to go into Iran. It’s like these people didn’t learn anything from the last quarter century (and Vietnam before that).

      Learn things? With our education system??? Buddy! What do you think this is??? A different country? Who’s this other country you’re thinking about??? They sound like someone we need to go to war with! Do they have oil?

        You don’t need an education system, just past lived experience. Trump himself regularly lies about how he was always against the Iraq war. It’s just one letter off, should be pretty easy to work out what would happen if they did the same thing again.

      Not to mention the terrain of Iran would prove an order of magnitude more difficult to overcome. Afghanistan was already very difficult for our military, imagine MORE mountains

        Yep, huge country, difficult terrain, largely homogeneous culture that goes back to the Persian Empire, homegrown weapons industry that can build their own drones and missiles. This is going to be more difficult by orders of magnitude.
