Mm hmmm. So where did I say any of that? and your argument is poor. 16 and 17 year olds were not legally able to vote so you have no data to back up your outburst
It hurts to see you keep missing the point so I’ll explain, Brexit was an impulsive decision taken before this lowering of the age of voting, proving that it’s not just young people who are impulsive, defeating the argument by example.
I’m assuming by the fact that your rebuttal is still incorrect that you are being impulsive as well.
Where did I say that impulsivity was solely the domain of the young? When did I say it becomes a non factor?
When did brexit become the litmus test for impusivity? Shouldn’t that honor go to Trump’s election?
All I said. ALL I am saying. Is that impulse control isn’t finished developing until our twenties, and yes that means that Teena agers are more impulsive.
That’s not a controversial stance. It’s facts.
So your attempt at a rebuttal isn’t even discussing the point. Which isn’t that impulsivity ever goes away, but that our development in that area isn’t “finished” in our brain during that time.
Other factors affect impulsivity, from education to personal experiences so it’s never really " done" developing in many ways. And a younger person who has gone through some serious shit will usually be way less impulsive than a sheltered older person.
Until they decide to troll vote.
You know that impulse control doesn’t fully develop till ones twenties
Like Brexit? Damn all those 16 and 17 voters.
Oh wait, they weren’t part of that.

You’ve missed their point.
No. They made no point. What they did was blame the poor showing in that vote on older people. That isn’t what I said at all.
Said nothing about brexit, nor does the reply to me address anything I posted.
So no. You and they have missed the point.
They didn’t even say that! As they said: you missed their point. Congrats on doing so openly :)

It wasn’t even a matter of impulsiveness, it was a matter of sheer ignorance.
Look at the Google searches that followed the Brexit vote:

But I digress. The point is, you’re incorrect…
