Yes that’s what I use. Any 1 gallon Ziploc or other brand is fine.

Anytime I take a spool off the printer I put it back in the filament dryer. Once it’s done it goes in a sealed bag with dessicant. This keeps the filament dry and prevents stringing.

Also don’t use your food oven for plastic anyway.

After the Ender 3 Pro, I got a Bambu X1 Carbon. I have been running it for over a year now and it just makes whatever I send to it. The few times it has needed my attention, the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

I know the Windows vs Linux thing is like beating a dead horse, but I use both, and the Linux machine never gets slow like Windows does. Windows does so much crap in the background that you and I don’t need want or care about, and Linux just does what it’s told when it’s told. Give it a try if you’re feeling adventurous.

Now software bloat has caught up to the gains we’ve made in hardware and we’re back to it taking 15 seconds to load a word processor.

When joining acrylic, the absolute best method is to use Weld-On 3. It’s not a glue but a solvent. It dissolves the acrylic where they meet and hardens to be as strong as one solid piece.

I started a site whose name had a word that was similar to a famous trademark, and got a very similar cease and desist letter. I chose to change the name, and be candid about it, and I’ve been successful with it ever since. Just my $0.02, but I’d choose a new name you like and then register and trademark it like I did.

When I press Super + PrtSc, a bash script performs the following:

Takes a screenshot of the entire desktop (import -window root) and saves it as ~/screenshot.png…

Analyzes the screenshot to calculate the “mean brightness” value of the image. It converts the image to grayscale and determines the average pixel brightness (a value between 0 and 1, where 0 is black and 1 is white).

Checks if the image is dark by comparing the mean brightness to a threshold of 0.2. If the mean brightness is less than 0.2 (i.e., the image is very dark), it applies a negative filter to the image (convert -negate), effectively inverting the colors (black becomes white and vice versa).

Sends the image to a printer (lp command) named MF741C-743C for printing.

I printed the poop chute too… but after the first time the poop backed up on a long multicolor print, I replaced it with a simple shoebox which holds a lot more.
